The space is set up with drawing tables dividing each zone, and every element—including the demonstration boards and screens—replicates the feel of an actual Walt Disney studio.

Animators with years of experience will welcome you and walk you through the steps of drawing a character, such as Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck, from basic lines and shapes to a finished drawing. Step by step, even if you've never drawn before, you'll be able to produce a vibrant and dynamic picture. This inspiring environment of creativity allows everyone to feel like a true animation artist, leaving you with unforgettable memories.

The Process of Drawing and Character Design

At Animation Academy, everyone can feel like a true animation artist. This attraction offers a unique opportunity to go through every stage of creating a Disney character under the guidance of professionals. Regardless of your skill level, each participant can craft their own masterpiece, following simple and clear instructions.

• Choosing a character: The lesson begins with selecting the character you’ll be drawing. This could be a classic hero like Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck, or one of Disney’s modern characters.
• Preparing to draw: Special drawing boards with lined paper are provided to help you maintain the correct proportions. You’ll receive pencils and other drawing tools to get started.
• Sketching the basic outline: The animator starts with simple basic lines and shapes that form the foundation of the character. They explain how the correct placement and proportion of these lines help create a recognizable image.
• Adding details: Once the basic outline is ready, the animator moves on to adding details like the eyes, mouth, ears, and other features that make the character unique. This stage requires more focus, but with the animator’s guidance, each step becomes clear and accessible.
