Where does the parade take place?

The magical floats begin their journey from Fantasyland, gliding through the large pink gates next to the “It's a Small World” attraction. The parade then sweeps across Central Plaza in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle, weaves through Main Street USA, and concludes in the square at the entrance/exit of Disneyland® Park. 

This route offers a variety of viewing spots for the parade. Many people flock to Main Street for a front-row experience of this magical procession, so finding a spot somewhere between “It's a Small World” and the stage area to the right of Sleeping Beauty's Castle might be a smart choice, as these areas tend to be less crowded.

Mickey and his friends

The first sights that greet the guests are the extraordinary and unexpected Disney characters: Genie from ‘Aladdin', Alice and the Mad Hatter from ‘Alice in Wonderland', Tigger from ‘The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh', and more. Who exactly are these characters? The guests will find out for themselves!

Following this enchanting introduction is the first float featuring Mickey Mouse and his friends, some of whom are dressed as explorers from the future. These beloved heroes are aboard a space-themed float shaped like a giant book. Riding on the pages of this colossal book are Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Chip, Dale, and Pluto, ready to take you on a stellar journey through their magical tales.

Toy Story

The next magical float brings to life one of Pixar's most successful franchises: “Toy Story.” Leading the float, guests will be delighted to see dancers dressed in cowboy attire and the Green Army Soldiers.

To the enchanting tune of “You've Got a Friend in Me,” spectators will witness Buzz Lightyear's rocket pulling a large wagon filled with Andy's toys.

The Lion King and the Jungle Book

The next float transports guests into the exotic world of the savannah and jungles. Dancers in vibrant costumes fully embody the inhabitants of these wild landscapes. Characters like Rafiki, Timon, King Louie, Mowgli, and others welcome guests with open arms.

Peter Pan

Atop the eerie Skull Rock sits none other than Captain Hook, his eyes wide with fear that the ticking crocodile might finally catch up to him. Right by his side, as always, is the ever-loyal Mr. Smee, ready to assist or perhaps to flee at a moment's notice. Then, embark on a thrilling swing ride with Peter Pan as you soar off to the magical world of Neverland.

Finding Nemo

From the surface of the Earth, guests plunge into the astounding underwater realms of “Finding Nemo” and “Finding Dory.” Hovering above a water-themed float, you'll spot Crush the sea turtle, who is joined by a host of familiar marine creatures from both films. As the float makes its way through the parade, Crush and friends ensure that all guests feel as if they are on an oceanic journey, destined to reach Sydney.

The fire-breathing Dragon from Maliphisent

The Enchanted Black Dragon float whisks guests away to the mystical realm of Maleficent and Sleeping Beauty. On this magical journey, you'll witness Prince Phillip and the three good fairies—Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather—valiantly battling the dragon. Their fierce fight unfolds before your eyes, as they strive to ensure that goodness prevails.

Disney Princesses

The Disney Princess Parade is an enchanting spectacle that captures the essence of romance and fairy tale wonder. How did it all begin?

The daytime parade “Disney Stars on Parade” made its grand debut at Disneyland Paris on March 26, 2017. This event was launched in celebration of the park's 25th anniversary, replacing the former “Disney Magic on Parade,” which had enchanted guests from April 1, 2012, to March 24, 2017.

Reserved Area for the Disney Stars on Parade

This special vantage point provides an ideal perspective of the vibrant floats and beloved characters as they march down Main Street, U.S.A. To secure the best spots, it is recommended to arrive at the access point to the reserved area, located at the entrance to Fantasyland, to the right of Sleeping Beauty Castle (near the pink towers towards Pizzeria Bella Notte), 30 minutes before the parade begins. Access to the area closes 10 minutes prior to the parade. Be sure to book this privileged zone in advance to make your day at Disneyland truly magical.
