Exterior Design of the Orbitron®

The attraction is designed in a retro-futuristic style with elements of steampunk: gleaming metal structures, rotating planets, and rockets that evoke visions of a bygone future. At the heart of the attraction stands a massive mechanism with rotating arms that support the moving “orbits.” The gold and bronze hues of the metal emphasize the cosmic atmosphere, while the swirling planets and rockets give the impression that you're watching a model of the Solar System in motion.

Description of the Orbitron®

As soon as you take your seat and fasten in, the exhilarating rotation begins around the massive central mechanism, which symbolizes a model of the solar system. This mechanism, adorned with rotating planets and gleaming metallic elements, gives you the sensation of being at the heart of galactic motion. By controlling the levers, you decide whether to ascend higher or descend, all while taking in the stunning view of planets floating around you, making you feel like part of this cosmic ballet. Every turn and movement offers the thrill of real flight among the stars, transforming your ride into an unforgettable space journey, as if you're at the forefront of space exploration.

Special Effects at Orbitron®

The attraction offers guests not only an exhilarating journey through orbits, but also impressive special effects that enhance the feeling of cosmic flight. Here are some of the standout features:

  • Planetary motion: The central mechanism rotates the planets in the opposite direction of the rockets, creating the illusion that the planets are spinning at double speed, adding to the dynamic experience.
  • Neon lighting: As night falls, the attraction is illuminated by bright neon lights, intensifying the flying sensation and making evening rides especially mesmerizing.
  • Audio system: A state-of-the-art audio system delivers crisp, immersive sound, further enhancing the cosmic atmosphere and giving the sensation of a true space voyage.

Helpful Hints

  • Consider visiting the attraction early in the morning or late in the evening to avoid long lines. The nighttime light effects make the ride even more spectacular.
  • If you're traveling with children or prefer a gentler experience, opt for the lower levels of the rockets, where the sensation of height and movement is less intense, making the ride more comfortable.
  • If you want to select a rocket at a specific height, take your time and wait for the one that suits you best.
  • You can control the height of your rocket using the lever in front of you. Ascend higher for the best panoramic views of the park.
