How to Spot a Loss and What to Do First
In the excitement of magical attractions, realizing you've lost something can be tricky. If you notice an item is missing, act quickly and follow these steps:
- Stay calm: Panicking will only make it harder to focus and take action.
- Look around: Retrace your steps to recent spots like attractions, shops, or benches where you might have left your item.
- Ask those nearby: Fellow guests may have seen your item and can point you in the right direction.
- Seek assistance from park staff: Cast Members are always ready to help and will guide you on what to do next.
- Visit the nearest Lost and Found desk: Found items are often brought here quickly, especially in high-traffic areas.
- Use the Troov online service: Troov connects reports of lost and found items. Submit a detailed description of your item along with your contact information on the platform to streamline the search process.
What to Do If You’ve Already Left the Park
If you realize you've lost something after returning home, don’t worry! Disneyland Paris offers an easy way to report your missing item online. Simply fill out the request form on their official website, providing your contact details, a detailed description of the item, and the date of your visit. If your lost item is located, the team will contact you promptly to arrange its return.
Assistance with a Lost Item
If you come across a lost item while exploring the parks, make sure to hand it over to a Cast Member as soon as possible. You can do this at the nearest attraction, restaurant, kiosk, or designated Lost and Found location.
Returning valuable items is especially important to ensure they are safely reunited with their rightful owner. By taking this thoughtful action, you help other guests preserve their magical memories and add a touch of kindness to their Disneyland day.
Helpful Hints
- Keep items secure: Use zippered bags and never leave your belongings unattended.
- Photograph important items: If something like a plush Mickey gets lost, a photo can help staff identify it more quickly.
- Use GPS trackers: These are especially helpful for parents with young children or for keeping tabs on valuable items.
- Contact Guest Services: If you realize something is missing after leaving the park, reach out to the Disneyland Paris Guest Services team for further assistance.
